Fini came home from church camp this week and became very sick Sunday morning. Between Sunday night and Monday morning, he was taken to the hospital and later transferred to the infectious disease hospital here in Romania, where doctors determined that he was dealing with a serious virus and was very weak.
We are thankful that he has been able to eat some and is showing signs of improvement today. If everything continues to go well, he may be released tomorrow.
Please continue praying for Fini’s healing and strength. Also pray for peace and courage while he is in the hospital. Being in an infectious disease hospital can be difficult and intimidating, especially for a young teenager, and because of the hospital’s restrictions, his mother is not able to stay with him.
We are grateful for every person who stands with us in prayer. Prayer fuels the mission, and your prayers make a difference as we walk alongside young people like Fini.
