Risners Beyond Borders exists to take the hope of Jesus Christ beyond borders, cultures, and comfort zones. Our mission is simple: to share the Gospel, make disciples, and strengthen local churches around the world. Through evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, church partnerships, and mission outreach, we are committed to helping people encounter Christ and grow in their faith. Whether serving in Romania, Zambia, the United States, or wherever God opens doors, our desire is to faithfully walk alongside people and point them to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. We invite you to pray with us, partner with us, and go with us as we continue sharing the Gospel beyond borders.

Our Mission

Our mission is to take the hope of Jesus Christ beyond borders by sharing the Gospel, making disciples, strengthening local churches, and equipping leaders to multiply the Gospel in their own communities and around the world.

Our desire is to build lasting Gospel partnerships through discipleship, leadership development, church strengthening, and ongoing missions engagement. By equipping and encouraging local believers, we seek to help multiply the Gospel across communities, cultures, and borders.

Our vision is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, disciples raised up, churches strengthened and planted, and future leaders equipped to carry the message of Jesus Christ across cultures, nations, and generations.

For us, missions is more than traveling to different places—it is living among people, loving them well, and pointing them to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

Bryan Risner

Founder · President · Missionary

Bryan Risner has spent more than two decades serving in ministry with a passion for evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and strengthening local churches across cultures. As founder of Risners Beyond Borders, he is committed to equipping believers, developing leaders, and helping multiply the Gospel wherever God opens doors. Before entering full-time missions, Bryan served 14 years in law enforcement after graduating from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy, while also ministering bi-vocationally in student ministry. In 2018, Bryan and his family relocated to Romania to serve in long-term cross-cultural ministry. While serving overseas, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Ministry from Central Baptist College, further strengthening his passion for leadership development, discipleship, and equipping believers for ministry. Since moving to Romania, Bryan has continued investing in discipleship, church strengthening, evangelism training, and mentoring leaders throughout Europe, Africa, and the United States.

Pamela Risner

Co-Founder · Women's Ministry Director · The Bloom Initiative

Pamela Risner serves alongside Bryan with a heart for discipleship, encouragement, hospitality, and mentoring women across cultures. As co-founder of Risners Beyond Borders, she leads The Bloom Initiative, a women’s ministry inspired by Song of Solomon 2:12 — “The flowers are springing up.” Through The Bloom Initiative, Pam desires to help women learn how to bloom even in life’s hardest places, trusting that God brings beauty, growth, and purpose even through brokenness. She is passionate about creating welcoming, Gospel-centered spaces where women can grow in faith, healing, purpose, and biblical community. Pam holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Baptist College and has spent years investing in ministry, leadership, and relational discipleship both in the United States and overseas. Since relocating to Romania in 2018, she has continued serving women, families, and young leaders through encouragement, mentoring, and cross-cultural ministry.
